The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be Samsung’s largest and most powerful tablet to date when it launches in early 2022. Specifications for the 14.6-inch tablet have now landed though, outlining that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has more unique things to offer than just its size and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
SamMobile has leaked numerous specifications for the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, believed to be Samsung’s next flagship tablet. For reference, previous leaks have indicated that the Galaxy Tab S8 ultra has a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display paired with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The large tablet should offer a 120 Hz refresh rate, too.
According to SamMobile, the tablet’s two front-facing cameras are both 12 MP sensors. Unsurprisingly, one of the sensors is an ultra-wide-angle camera, with the other on hand to capture regular selfies. Additionally, the website claims that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has a 13 MP primary rear-facing camera, along with a 6 MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
Moreover, SamMobile asserts that the Tab S8 Ultra measures 208.6 x 326.4 x 5.5 mm, 0.2 mm thinner than the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus. Still, Samsung is alleged to have integrated an 11,200 mAh battery that the tablet can recharge at 45 W. The Tab S8 Ultra also supports Samsung’s S Pen, which sits on the tablet’s back when not in use.
The tablet should launch with Android 12, overlaid with One UI 4.1. Multiple memory configurations will be available, starting with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Samsung will offer the tablet with 12 GB and 16 GB of RAM too, complemented by 256 GB or 512 GB of storage.
